NYC Jazz

Throwing up some pics of a recent commission piece that I created for my friend April. She requested a painting that had a graffiti feel to it and combined imagery of NYC subway and music. I took the final design and made a 4 X 3 ft. acylic painting.

For the blacks in the painting I used Golden Open acrylics for the first time and they blew me away. The paint stays wet longer, can be re-activated with water, and covers evenly with a sheen to it. If you are looking to try a new paint I suggest giving Golden Open a shot.
