Versailles is where you want to go if you're craving awesome Cuban food. Seriously it's the schiznit. One morning while A. and I were enjoying some pastelitos and cortaditos I started snapping candid iPhone shots of the old men in the restaurant. A few months later I finally got around to making my Versailles art. With this piece I wanted the fills to be loose and have a line-like quality to them. Hell, I wanted the whole piece to be loose, fresh, with an aerosol feel to it. I added two layers of fills (the orange and blue) to the contour line drawing (black line) of the men on top, and finished it off with the freehand "Versailles" on the bottom. Enjoy.
